Colecciones de Artistas (Artists’ collections)

This book gathers a set of interviews to the outstanding Argentine artists: Luis Fernando Benedit, Nicolás García Uriburu, Rómulo Macció, Luis Felipe Noé, Alfredo Pior, Rogelio Polesello and Josefina Robirosa.

The objective of these dialogues was to document the exhibition "Artists Collections", to be presented in the rooms of the Proa Foundation during the month of March of 2001. Together with the large collections of private or public character, the artists keep works for different reasons.

 

Each set realizes and offers testimony of their life and their relationships. It is a preferences and pleasures selection that describe different moments in the life of each artist. Exchanges, gifts, procurements, occasional encounters can be read in these dialogues.
