Mario Merz, born in 1925 in Italy, is considered by the international art history and criticism as one of the most outstanding and significant artists of the 20th century art world.
He participated in the movement ‘Arte Povera’, which emerged in Italy in 1967. The photographs that accompany the text cast light on the versatility and complexity in the construction of his igloos, of his “Fibonacci” series as well as of his painting.
