Saturday, September 18 - 5 PM

Luis Wells moved to New York in 1966 where he lived for nine years. This period was essential to the development of his artistic career. At Imán: Nueva York exhibition, Wells displays his work Techo (Rooftop), a piece first produced in 1964 and reconstructed in 2010.
Next Saturday, September 18, Luis Wells will visit the show together with acclaimed avant-garde researcher Cristina Rossi. This encounter will be devoted to a reflection on the artist's experience, memories and ideas on New York. It will constitute an oral essay on 1960's North America, comparing it with the argentinian scene during the same period.
The program Artists + Critics will end on Saturday, September, 25 with the attendance of artist Liliana Porter, one of the few exhibition artists to have live in New York for over 30 years now.
