Este libro reúne una serie de
entrevistas realizadas por la crítica de arte Eva Grinstein a los
siguientes creadores: E. Basaldúa, C. Billourou, J. Ferrari, A.
Negrin, H. Pigozzi, J. Sarudiansky y Mini Zuccheri.
El motivo de estos diálogos es
dar cuenta de las disciplinas escenográficas y el vestuario como
un elemento más de la creación en el arte. Entendidas desde
el aporte que realizan al arte contemporáneo y en relación
y diálogo con las artes visuales, las puestas escenográficas
son tratadas como construcciones espaciales, o "instalaciones".
Las vicisitudes de un arte desarrollado
en equipo, la posibilidad de consolidar un estilo, el paso a paso del
proceso creativo, las fuentes y los referentes, la incidencia de las nuevas
tecnologías, el rol del espectador; son algunos de los temas abordados
en las conversaciones.
Este libro también recoge una
extensa documentación sobre el trabajo realizado en Fundación
Proa, durante la muestra "Giuseppe Verdi: Escenografía y vestuario.
Instalaciones". En ella los artistas convocados realizaron un proyecto
expositivo de inmersión en el mundo verdiano.
De esta manera, Giuseppe Verdi. Escenografía
y Vestuario. Instalaciones resulta una publicación imprescindible
para aproximarse al mundo verdiano desde una mirada contemporánea.

This book gets together seven interviews
made by the art critic Eva Grinstein: E. Basaldúa, C. Billourou,
J. Ferrari, A. Negrin, H. Pigozzi, J. Sarudiansky y Mini Zuccheri.
The reason for this dialogues is to get
to discussion the work made by scenographers and custom designers in the
field of the arts. Understood as a plus to the contemporary art, the scenography
sets are treated as spacial constructions or as "instalations".
The ups and downs of the workgroups,
the posibility of setting a style, the go trough the creative process,
the incidence of the new technologies are some of the subjects that the
artists talk aobut in the conversations.
This book also gets a large documentation
on the work made by the artists in Fundacion Proa during the show "Giuseppe
Verdi: Scenography and Customs. Instalations. In this exhibition the artists
make a project which takes the verdian world.
