Artists’ Film International 2014. Second Part

The fifth edition of International Film Artist's bring 15 international institutions to present a comprehensive overview of contemporary video art. The idea initiated by Whitechapel Gallery grew over the years and it means a remarkable platform for young artists.
The proposal implies that each site, gallery or exhibition space abroad presents all the films throughout the year, through curatorial and exhibition design forms with absolute independence. This freedom enriches the artworks and every new outline opens new reading possibilities .
In this fase, Proa brings together films from Afghanistan, Germany and Argentina. The three proposals, with an open narrative, allow the viewer to a fixed or transient look, as all short stories can be caught by the intensity of any moment .
