Argentine audiovisual artist, photographer and independent curator. Precursor of video art in Argentina and Latin America. His work, located within the field of video installation, multimedia art and photography, is characterized by a strong experimental and political look. His work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, as well as in biennials and festivals of video, film and electronic arts in America, Asia and Europe. In parallel to his fertile artistic work, Carlos dedicated his work to teaching design, audiovisual media and digital technologies. He was a professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU) of the University of Buenos Aires (1987 - 2020); Director of the Image and Sound Design Career (2014 - 2018) at the same institution; and Visiting Professor at several universities in Colombia, Ecuador and the United States.
