EMIGRANTES Y REFUGIADOS: EL INSTINTO DE SUPERVIVENCIA
La mayoría de los emigrantes deja sus hogares llenos de esperanza; los refugiados lo hacen llenos de miedo; pero a todos les guía el instinto de supervivencia.
Casi todos los emigrantes del Tercer Mundo se dirigen a las ciudades, donde se unen a los familiares que les precedieron y donde, con el tiempo, acaban construyendo sus propias viviendas precarias. Los más ambiciosos tienen por meta Europa y los Estados Unidos. Sus viajes son largos y peligrosos, pero, entre otros, hay mejicanos, marroquíes, vietnamitas y rusos que piensan que vale la pena correr esos riesgos por alcanzar el sueño de una vida mejor. Si lo consiguen, no suelen volver la mirada hacia lo que dejaron atrás.
Por el contrario, los civiles, víctimas principales de las actuales guerras regionales, nunca se convierten en refugiados por voluntad propia. Kurdos, afganos, bosnios, serbios y kosovares han sido obligados por millones a huir de sus pueblos y ciudades. Al igual que los palestinos, que han pasado décadas viviendo en campos de refugiados, sueñan con volver a casa. Para algunos, sin embargo, la ruptura con el pasado se hace permanente: de refugiados pasan a convertirse en exiliados, y de exiliados en emigrantes.

MIGRATORY AND REFUGEES: THE SURVIVAL INSTINCT
Most of the migratorys lets their full hope households; the refugees make it fill with fear; but they are all guided by their survival instinct.
Nearly all the migratorys of the Third world travel to the cities, where are joined to the relatives that preceded them and where, with the time, they finish building their own precarious housings. The most ambitious have by goal Europe and the United States. Their trips are long and hazardous, but, among other, there are Mexican, Moroccan, Vietnamits and Russian that think that is worth the trouble to run those risks by reaching the dream of a better life.
