This publication, "Conjectures: Exploring Art Today," brings together a collection of works by various contemporary Argentine artists who live and create both abroad and in the country, curated by Rodrigo Alonso. Alonso offers readers an interpretation of the present moment, exploring themes ranging from identity and politics to the environment, culture, and tradition. The works maintain a fluid and cross-disciplinary dialogue, while unintentionally resonating with the complexities of a world in a constant state of conjecture.
The book includes, alongside the artists' words and reproductions of their works, an original essay by the curator in which he analyzes the evolution of some key stages of 21st-century art and their impact on the local creative field. A photographic section documents the installations in the exhibition spaces and enriches the reading experience of this publication.
