Eyelids (2014) is part of a research on the nature of limits. In this case, the artist is interested in bringing to light the distinct conditions between the conditions that exist on both sides of a line. A fragile and transparent crystal is enough for two completely different worlds to exist only millimeters away from each other. In artist words: “I use simple methods to create disturbing interventions in space. This video consists of the image of two semi-transparent swathes of fabric hanging on both sides of a window, internal and external. Thus while one curtain hangs inside, as a regular curtain does, the other is placed outside of the glass window facade in the entrance area. It is only when both veils coincidentally lift at the same time that a clear view opens up through the pane.”
