Photography and Territory: Contemporary Perspectives
 

In this session, we delve into Human, the exhibition of the Prix Pictet. In its tenth edition, it explored the theme of “the human” in today’s world. In this class, we focus on four photographers who, in different ways, develop the theme of landscape and its relationship with humanity.

Founded in 2008, the Prix Pictet is an international award that highlights the connection between photography and sustainability, inviting us to reflect on the challenges of our time. The 12 finalists of the tenth edition had their photographs exhibited in the 4th gallery of Fundación Proa between September and November 2025.

How to Represent the Sensible: Contemporary Photography
 

We close October with a new session of the Distance Learning series, dedicated to exploring the representation of the sensitive and the emotional in contemporary photography. The class offers a journey through the works featured in the current Prix Pictet exhibition, focusing on the expressive power of the body and gesture as vehicles of empathy and social transformation.
